The Challenge
The objective of this academic project was to conceptualize, design, and prototype a mobile app that addresses a real user need, focusing exclusively on UX/UI design rather than development. The challenge was to identify usability and visual gaps, then translate them into a functional, user-centered solution through thoughtful interface design, navigation, and component systems. The project required designing a cohesive app experience, from branding and app icon to key screens, interactions, and store presentation, demonstrating problem-solving skills, design process, and the ability to improve usability, clarity, and visual consistency within a digital product.

Lytefi is a smart and user-friendly financial app designed to help people take control of their money with confidence. The name blends “Lyte”— a take on “light”— with “Fi” from “finance”, reflecting a mission to bring clarity, simplicity, and innovation to personal finance.
